It is a fundamental right to which governments, including Angola, committed themselves under the 1989 Convention of the Civil Rights of the Child. 4 million children in Angola have no access to basic primary education due to the devastation of a 27 year civil war. RISE is focused on building schools in rural Angola and bringing the opportunity for education to
