The clock maker inscription is illegible but there is a pencil mark lower down which is easier to read but still rather difficult to make out

garden benches – even custard cream biscuits

there is a puncture to the upper left section as photographed

but in England models would have been 'blacked up' to produce these 'humorous' cards
